Importance of Renters Insurance With Barua Insurance

Renters Insurance normally starts with $5-7/month which protects your phone, laptop, bike and more in 90 seconds. Insurance plays a critical role in our day today life style. Every individual needs insurance coverage to get financial relief against the uncertain losses. People normally pay a small amount in advance, a premium, to protect themselves from a greater amount, a loss or judgement, that could financially destroy them. It also protects third parties who might be injured or damaged by you.

Coverage:

renters insurance covers the belongs from all the possible bad events that are mentioned in the policy such as fire, smoke, water damage, windstorms, lightning, theft and vandalism. Although you think your stuff isn’t worth that much but it’s always a good idea to have cover the uncertain situations because prevention is better than cure.

If you are renting apartments or homes, you need to have renters insurance to cover your belongings because your landlord’s property insurance covers the losses on the building only but your personal property and certain liabilities are not covered so you as a tenant should have renters insurance to protect yourself from getting sued by others and getting covered for your valuable belongings just for the lowest monthly payment of $5-7.

If someone is injured in your house – friends, neighbors, or pizza delivery person, they have the right to sue you and you might be thinking that they can get nothing even if they sue you but that one time being sued might mess up your entire life. Even if you think you don’t need insurance, here are the 6 good reasons why you should have renters insurance.

  1. Affordable Price
  2. Covers losses to person property
  3. In some areas landlord requires renters insurance
  4. Provides liability coverage
  5. Covers your belongings when you travel
  6. Cover additional living expenses

Affordable Price:

your premium depends on factors on what coverage you need. The amount of deductible and where you live because some areas have more crime than other areas so the companies focuses the zip code and accepts the estimates.

Covers losses to the Personal Property:

Aircraft, vehicles, explosion, falling objects, fire, lightning, civil commotion, smoke. Theft, vandalism, malicious mischief, volcanic eruption, weight of ice, snow, or sleet, Windstorm or hail, damage from water or steam from sources including household appliances, plumbing, heating, air conditioning or fire-protective sprinkler systems.

Landlord requirement:

In some areas Landlords require you to have renters insurance in order to get into the apartments so that they don’t have to be responsible for the losses.

Liability Coverage:

in case someone gets injured in your home or you and your girlfriend fighting at home or apartment accidentally  it will pay any court judgments as well as legal expenses up to the policy limits.

Covers belongings when you travel:

Your belongings are covered from loss due to theft and other covered losses anywhere you travel, any valuable you have in the car are also covered so having renters insurance means you are in good hands.

Additional Living Expenses:

any cost associated with living somewhere else temporarily, hotel bills, food, day today expenses will be covered
